Carp weight competition
I guess 24lb 10oz.
I guess 24lb 10oz.
Guess the weight of the Carp and WIN a Fox Rod and Reel!
How do you fancy winning a brand new Fox Warrior ES 12ft - 2.75lb rod and a Fox Stratos FS10000E reel to go with it?
All you have to do is guess the weight of the carp in the picture. Hint: The carp isn't wearing a cap.
Take a good look and give me your best guess (one entry per member please, only your first guess will be taken into consideration).
Just post a reply to this thread and give me your best estimate.
The competition ends on the 31 January 2010, so don’t delay and miss out on the chance to win a great prize. One winner will be drawn out of all correct answers.
Good luck!
The Prize Rod and Reel
Fox Warrior ES 12ft - 2.75lb rod
The action of the Warrior ES runs through the tip and middle of the fishing rods although under heavy pressure the blank will continue to bend right through to the butt without locking up. This marginally forward action makes the rod ideal for distance casting and using PVA bags but still makes the rod suitable for safely playing large, lively carp close in.
Fox Stratos FS10000E reel
Identical sizing to the FS10000, the 10000E has a graphite body and spool and is considerably lighter than its fore bearer. The 9 ball bearings and precise gearing create a smooth, reliable reel. 20 coils of line are placed on the spool per linear oscillation creating excellent line-lay and casting performance.
Hmmm, same guess as post #125Im going to estimate at 26lb 2oz's its a big old lump
even introducing ones selfI do hope I win as there is always a first time for everything!
