Ah but JL told me "you're fishing like a total prat" when I was last on the Idle (more's the pity, he was right!).

Lovely littleriver and now I've got so much experience on the venue maybe I can catch a roach or two. Depends on the size of breakfast and how much sleepI havn'tgot the night before.

Beecy and Neil.

Can you imagine what i had to put up with fishing with him on a fairly regular basis.I never minded because he was almost allways right and i really really miss the guy.

Bryan, I've booked in for Saturday, but they had a room left so you're still on your own mate. /forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif

Might be a daft question, but is John's widow, Anne, aware of what we're planning to do tocelebrate John's life and contribution to this site?

Cakey, match will be fished 10.00 - 3.00, draw in the pub at around 8.00-8.30 ish

if your not in the match you can fish whatever time you like. Once we know exactly how many want to be included in the match I'll post on here the peg numbers we will use and the ones left can be fished by anyone/anytime

Critter, yes we can fit you in, Match ?

Neil and all

I will let Anne know what is being planned but im not sure wether she will either want or be in a position to attend bearing in mind her health problems and the logistical problem of getting her there and being there all day.

I was going to go to Haxey today and call on her on=route but my wife has gone down with a bad back and curtailed my little programme but i will let her know and take it from there .
