Suggest you all club together to pay for me to go on a different day from the day you all decide to go.....

that way the Gods of evil weather will be distracted and fall upon my head alone

But at least my day of torment will be free :wh

If on the other hand any of you are willing to risk it with me in tow then so be it. You have been warned though, my past weather record speaks for itself !

Just thought i should express my interest in attending. No date preference. Never fished the Itchen but do fancy a go. But a hard frost might put me off!

Are we going to set a date for this, I'd prefer earlier rather than later as I'm due to become a Grandad the very beginning of December and don't want to chance a premature arrival. Everyone seems OK with the 18th but
