That'll work as well Cakey!

I was actually a bit shell shocked as the match started today. Cast out the first feeder full of pellet, went to lay the rod on the rest and....... it was nearly wrenched from from my hand!! Seriously, 6 casts, 6 fish! Madness!!

Two weeks ago, I sat there for 3 1/2 hours before the first fish!!

All this "tech" talk and 100lb bags of carp sounds like I'm in for a major stuffing lol! Apart from the fact that I haven't fished a match for 7 years, when I did, my forte was snatching bits from the canal on squatts or wagg and magg on the rivers. I actually jacked it all in because I couldn't get my head around the commercial scene. Still sounds like a good crack and a fun day out......can't wait!

Put me down for this, and possibly Sue, although she may have to work on that day, so she's only a provisional name.

I missed the thread when it first started, as I was in Ireland doing some fishing, and I didn't connect it to the thread with that for the "Southern fish-in" that I bumped recently.

Look forward to meeting some more FM people.
