I said in an earlier post that i might need and extra £1-2 quid as i am going to have to purchase a bbq.

Bring your own drinks!

No worries about a bit of extra dosh for the barbie Wol.

Slime is bringing his mobile off-licence :D:w:D

It would also be nice to actually catch a fish, any tips on bait and tackle would be appreciated.

I'm leaving the esterberries at home ;)

THIS was from the year 2000 --and the fishing has deteriorated a lot since then ........

Nice one Wol. See people from lunchtime-ish on Friday then.

I'll be the one pretending he knows what he's doing with a marker float and spod rod.

Oh goodie, and to think; its only a 400 mile round trip for me . . . . . . And, the weather forecast isn't too brilliant either LOL Still, who cares, it will be a terrific weekend anyway! __________________

You forgot to add..."and I have the M6 friday car park to negotiate too." Spiders and I won't try to mention how convenient it is to get to for us locals...cos that will inevitabley mean the A50 and and A34 will be blocked!!!

10 bream, 2 carp and 2 perch to go at... allegedly.

Unfortunately Spiders wants the four skimmers we nicked back in his pond by Thursday....so we're down to 6 bream.

...and if anybody is thinking of Fishing the annual Heald Green Amalgamated Federation Big Un'...om tha pools behind tesco's...well it's always a grueller and Spiders has won it for the last 8 years...with four scabby little skimmers each time!!! Lot of skill on venues like that...don't know why he's not been picked for Engalnd vets?
