JK, I don't think we've met yet? I'm really looking forward to it now. Make sure Major Spewitt don't get me on the red wine again!

Steve, I've only just seen this. We've not met yet but I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing how the experts operate. What's this about the wine, is this another indiscretion? :wh:D

EXPERTS.............hahahahaha
If it's as cold as the last time I went we'll be lucky to get a bite! And even if you do get a bite you won't be able to grip your rod!

JK, I was okay last time until Spwett put a bottle of red in front of us, I do like me red :w

Thanks Fred and Poshers, I'll check out the menu so I can prepare myself for it :D

Can anyone find the write-up and put a link up of the famous John Ledger memorial that saw a kidnapping and a 32oz steak going to waste?

I say that anyone who can eat a 32oz steak - thats getting on for a kilogramme - is a greedy gannet of the first order.

Such a massive amount of protein would keep a Zimbabwean village for a week!!

I certainly hope there is to be some decorum on the Saturday evening. It coincides with the Pink Rinse Ladies of Bawtry dainty tea and cake evening organised by the Vicar of Bawtry and Blythe.

We certainly don't want to see antics like those of Brummie and Ed a couple of years ago. The pub ran out of whisky!

I think I will have to insist that we keep our activities strictly teetotal.

Totally Funky - Safari Gold Rolls

Something above to help the Zimbabwean villages after there 32oz steak! Brilliant, whatever next, people will be buying bottled air soon!!!

Welsh Gift Air in a bottle| Air from wales bottled and sent worldwide

That just about takes the biscuit!

They buy it in a can!

I saw Scottish air for sale at Newark Airport NJ a few years ago.

So Ed isn't coming!

At least there will be no Scouse accents flying around, lowering the tone!

Mind you, I could have fixed him up with one of the pink rinse ladies!

Sean,

Although I've never fished a match in my life before I'll have a go if that's alright. A little bird tells me that one or two members pension funds are not upto expectations so I'll do my bit to help out, :j anyway 13 could be considered unlucky. :w
