Updates (and hurricane warnings) would be most welcome Mick, are you coming down this year?

Will do.

Yes, if all goes well I will walk the river and hopefully meet with a few of you somewhere along the bank.
.....

BTW
For the on-the-bank hot breakfast delivery contact Jerry :D

Skip did a very excellent write up after last year's event, will somebody be doing one for this?

Eel fishing under the flyover again Clarkey ? Bring E17....I could do with a laugh !

E17 would only out fish you again :wh and they are all working, just as well, or it would cost me a fortune, in bait and tickets.

I will let you have the Eels this time Skip.

Be good to see you and big Phil again, plus the other old and new faces.

" if all goes well, I will walk the river and meet a few of you"........does that mean 'mick b' owns the place ? Sounds like it to me....

Wouldn't have thought he would charge friends though.................

I'm visualising him in Plus Fours and Tweed jacket here, but I could be wrong..........................

I always consider it a challenge to draw fish from the downstream angler, the closer I can get to his right boot the better! It's often an even bigger challenge to defend your swim from the upstream angler :D

A state of mind still to the forefront even though my match days are long gone!

You'll not do me like that again Longshanks. I know your Plan A now.:D

Mainly roach fishing with the odd barbel day.

I kept getting problems logging in almost as if I was being thwarted ( funny old word)

So said bug it!

Young Roger told me you were having a fish in again so thought I would say hello again.

I've got my coloured beads and lugworms ready this time.

It was also much fun winding up Skippy.
