See that scrawny little kid standing third from the left, that was me age about fourteen. I got into the hobby of slot car racing which was to remain a passion for forty years on and off. The chap to the right was my mentor, he taught me to build the cars and race craft , it was he that got me also into fishing first time round.

In later years I became a good painter of the cars using an airbrush, I was also really into photography at the time.

And there Paul is fishing the Thames at Teddington.

I drew next to Alan scothorne at worsbrough res a few years ago....... he beat me by one skimmer.... I caught nothing and he got one !!!!
