Can somebody explain me what is the plan with this fish in as I never been in one of them before and would like to know something about it before I travel for 3h from n.wales? Only if there is still place for me.

You just turn up when you can. Fish untill you have had enough the go home. Some just come for the day others stay the night on the bank. Bed chairs and bivvies etc or even just under a brolly.

There is plenty of room for everybody. Just introduce yourself when you arrive on the bank. Were a friendly bunch really/forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif

Thanks Bryan some more questions I have.

Do I need to pay for permit to fish on the stretch? Is there a space to put my camper close to the bank,,Is the night fishing allowed, can I come on Friday night and camp there? Will we be close to town or is it in the wild ?

Will there be a free beer and few pretty women...... oh no sorry/forum/smilies/sarcastic_smiley.gif that's different event.

Last time i fished collingham I found myself in the car park near the weir; can i get to the pegs from here or is there another way to the river that I missed? Is this the bityou can drive behindthe pegs or is it a hike with gear job? Brought way to much gear last time but doesn't matter if the cars behind me!/forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif
