Yesterday I tore my calf muscle and at the moment I am having great difficulty walking but I am fervantly hoping it will be a bit easier by the end of the week, what is the distance from the carpark to the pool please.

I was watching my local amateur footy team and took two or three steps to retrieve the ball and my muscle cracked like a whip, I can put my toes on the ground but I can't put any weight on my left leg at all.

Graham , looking at the map of the lakes it looks a fair walk but i could be wrong but i will have my barrow in the back of the van so we will get you and your gear to your swim no problem .

Hahaha! rickshaw style eh! Les? Very good of you mate anyway but it isn't really practical is it, I shall go to our local cottage hospital in the morning and see what they have to say, trouble is, when you get to my age you can't shake these things off very quickly. Believe me if there is any way I can fish I shall be there, I had to miss last years because I was in hospital but I am determined not miss this one.
