Is the trolley any good? Was considering one.

I’ll let you know when I’ve tried it out, possibly tomorrow. Out of the box it looks well made, sturdy and folds flat (except wheels) in an instant.

Sainsbury’s have recently replaced their free plastic bags for loose fruit and veg with a rather nifty fine mesh bag with a drawstring at the princely cost of 30p. I can think of a number of useful applications for this bag, this one is about to go in the airing cupboard to dry out some bread.

It would but it isn’t camo and doesn’t have a Fox/ Nash/Korda badge:)

Could also be used as a maggot pouch.

Good point!!!
I do though pay special attention to any post of yours under this bargain thread since I got that great holdall from Fishing Republic for £3 odd including postage when you posted about it.

A while ago I bought 2 Shimano GT8000 Titanos reels from Cash Generator for £15 each. Flogged one on eBay straight away, forget what I got for it but it was around £30. Kept the other with the intention of doing some Continental style beach fishing in the summer but that just didn’t materialise. Decided to put the other reel on eBay and just got £48 for it so I’m quite happy with my bit of Del Boy-erism!

Not cheap but AD are offering 10% discount and Harris Sportsmail 15% and a bit more on Savage Gear stuff. Mind you they are expensive to begin with. I reckon others will follow suit. I might just buy an ultralight lure rod.

It will be ideal for that purpose. Great rods and they don’t break! :wh

I fish a lot of rainbow trout and never had any issues with a medium weight 6' or 6'6"" Fast Action Rod spun in 6lb Test Trilene.

You can have a lot of fun with an ultralight as it makes even the smallest fish feel like a hog.

I would always opt for the 2 piece design as it's more packable and easier to transport. Amazon usually has it at a pretty cheap price

Well, mine says 12'matchpro ultralite on the blank and I have caught roach with it even on the river so it must be true!

No, I meant how would you even know you have that rod within the bamboo forest of rods that you’ve bought?

Morrison’s sell this fine corn meal which is great for keeping your maggots dry.
Just 75p for 500gr.
Find it in the ethnic foods section.

Today’s bounty from Cash Generator £10 each and they are doing a promotion of 30% reduction on fishing tackle. So that’s a cool £7 each.

Bit of a clean up and we’ll see what The Bay makes of them! My inner Delboy is just a bit pleased!

Should read my emails more often. Just missed Angling Direct doing a thing where if a kid spent a fiver they got a free whip and bits.

Could have sent them both in there and maybe rounded up a few more urchins given enough plotting time.
