Just got in after a short detour for a bit of blanking on the Swale.

What an excellent weekend! A brilliant barby (thanks Wol!) and I even caught a fish.

Shame the weekend was spoilt by an unruley few that dont know how to conduct themselves, why is it when the BC turns up everything sinks into depravity, otherwise it was great to see you all again.

The BBQ was exellent for a change as well, the young lad that does it is getting better, nobody has been ill this time, (up to now) thanks Mr White for keeping an eye on the upstart :D

Slimes and Bibbys antics leave a lot to be desired, Bibby for fighting for control of the BBQ with the young lad, and Slime for being Slime, Wendy do you really want the pictures of you and him publishing?

Just to clear up the fishing results, what was the total caught and by who.

Posh Paul had a few bream... four I think, not sure of the size.

Jim had 12 bream to 8lb.

Stealth had 3 (?) including a pb 6lber.

I had 2 bream (thanks to Jim), an 8lb 3oz pb and a 7lber.
No carp out I think, but with only 80 fish in 16 acres not a surprise.

Can't remember any more fishing results, I was too busy imbibing ale and laughing my ar*e off at Uncle Dave's anecdotes :)

Derbyshire: best beer, best cheese, best puddings.
What a great weekend.

Everyone has already said how good the BBQ was but I'll say it again, cheers Wol. I almost feel guilty now.

Meeting 'Uncle' Dave and Ed for the first time was, er..., an experience!

I'm pretty sure it was a good experience, but I'm a little hazy on the bits after around 10pm.

A fantastic weekend with fantastic people brought together by a fantastic website.

Thanks Graham.

Indeed four it was...between 5 and 7lbs...think we all dropped a few in the weed as well.

Congratulations to Jim that was a real performance...

..with Spiders single bream..which he assures me was a conservative 19lbs ("barely a skimmer" was how it described it to me) and Slime's selection of float caught whitebait..that was all that had come out of the water by 10 this morning.

Good to see you ****y - I must get down to the Severn again -I've been away from Teme and Severn too long!

And I'm so glad you drank the port!

You too also remember that Ed was more than willing to go through with port irrigation...even too awful for Corker's to contemplate.

I am still howling with laughter whenever I think of that...it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life!!

Great weekend, i popped in to say hello on my way home fromm work on Friday night and was witness to a lovely bream caught by Jim,

Was hoping to fish on Saturday but was feeling a bit unwell but I did turn up for the BBQ which was superb - thanks Wol.

Nice to put names to the faces and thank you to the person who thought Wombat was a guy but now realises I am NOT !
I am still recovering from laughing at Eddie B and the port and stilton initiation...... never laughed so much in all my life. The Monk was brilliant in his gear and I can quite understand why he scares people in that rig out! He looked so normal talking to me earlier.

It was lovely to met Graham and a total pleasure getting the cake made for him.

Thank you to all it was lovely meeting you.

I don`t think I`ve ever been normal Miss Wombat, and I only scare people who are fishing in my swim, lovely to meet you though my dear.

I know Kev took a couple of shots of me with one of my reasonable bream...and hopefully he'll email them to me so I can photoshop out my grey streaks..

Really pleased that you all had a brilliant time and look forward to write-ups. Some tales to tell for years to come by the sound of it.
