Why not have a change to the far side?

Just a thought......

I cannot see that making a difference, because by the time 20, 30 or 40 FM'ers have clod-hopped down those boards all the fish will be back on the 'other side' of the lake anyway . . . . . . . . .

[insert clod-hopping smiley - I'm sure there must be one amongst the options > > > > > HERE]

...........and Woody will volunteer to carry the tackle of the over 60's to their peg.......and back again :wh

Bl@@dy bad enough walking to the high 30's plus as it is and you want to add another half a days camel ride on to it.............cor! mate! I would need to start out on Friday afternoon to get to the other side.

Them's of us with ****y tickers deffo not keen on miles of heavily laden route marching please.... Honest guv.

[Edit]I'm serious.... the 'stroll accross a couple of charming meadows' aka two mile route march carrying full ovenighting kit without benefit of trolley to reach last summer's Thames Bream fish in venue very damn near killed me.[/Edit]

Fine, so who's goin to carry mine? I'm over 60 too, y'know!

I keep myself fit, no bacon and egg breakfast for me, roughage, that's what I eat. Bran flakes and prunes, keep your bowels open. Walk 10 miles a day in woodland up and down hills and vales.

And still I can't get rid of this gut of mine.....

Guys,

Ive downsized to 15 pegs.We can add more on the day if we have more than that.

I am still potentially out of pocket to the tune of 30 quid on the day.Could those on the "to pay" list please do so ASAP.

Thanks

Nigel

Sad to see that we have such a low attendance this year; this is the only match I fish and it is always superbly organised (Stu or Marsbar win!) and a bloomin good laugh :).

Sadly I have news of another no-show....

I'm afraid Lunghi Jim can't make it; he's just bought a house and is snowed under with renovations.

Nigel,

I'm sure all of us that are coming along will put our hands in our pockets and cover between us any potential loss on your part.

I for one can't wait for it, I have a plan that's so cunning you could pin a tail on it, and call it a weasel!

Re cunning plan. hope it isn't the one I tried last year. It worked a treat for the regulars up there , but it wasn't as easy as it looked?

COME ON YOU LOT LET'S GET THE ATTENDANCE UP A BIT!!!!!!!!!!

Not that sinking/ floating bagging feeder/ float thing, Peter... no, I'll leave that to the experts (insert match-sceptic smiley here).

My plan was just not to blank, and maybe blag a pint if Marsbar's moths are allowed an outing!
