Far better being eaten by self supporting four legged English wildlife than two legged financial migrants.

Quite a few remaining down in the 'bread basket' by all accounts.

Got it wrong, the Itchen is an ugly place, no character, no soul, makes a fool of the best of anglers but it's only redemption is it's a great place to blank...... isn't it Windy?

If that's sunrise on the Itchen, it'll be the first time Windy's seen it

Plus the odd Carp down in what I call the "House Pool" below the little weir to your left as you drive onto the fishery.

I've seen Pike caught in there too over the years that we have fished there.

As you plan your day please remember that for the whole of the River Test and the River Itchen there are only two riparian owners prepared to allow coarse anglers onto their property.

Go for a very nice day beside the one of the rarest examples of a Chalkstream river system in Europe and enjoy the fish whatever their size they are all beautiful.

Please leave the numbers out of it, that's for the 'name in the comic' publicity seekers.
