Thanks Fred got your PM, I'll give Mikea ring when I have definite numbers but at least five so far!

One question, are we limited to barbel fishing only? Depending on conditions, at that time of year I normally carry a a variety of kit on the Severn to cover barbel, chub, roach, perch, zander, pike etc... whatever's going really...

Don't mind either way mate, just thought I'd cheekily ask... /forum/smilies/big_smile_smiley.gif/forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif

I can'tsee why not ****y, mostmembers thatfish there, as I understand it, are flexible in their approach to the fish that swim there.

It's an introduction to the fishery and the members.

It'll be my first trip to the fishery, so knowing me, I'll go overloaded to fish for.....anything I can get!!!

Hi ****ie and all,

Just to confirm what Fred has already said really, but the day is an OPEN day and although it is happening on a Barbel Society water, it is completely up to you what you decide to fish for. I have fished Beauchamp a bit and have caught many different species there.

It is an excellent predator venue as well as having some very decent sized bream and roach although it obviously gets targetted mostly for Barbel.

Just come along and enjoy the day. Fish for what you want and where you want as well as socialising as much (or as little) as you want.Over forty people did so at the last one at Sutton, and we also managed to raise over £120 for the local Air Ambulance, due to the generosity of those attending.

Look forward to meeting those who do decide to come.

Looking forward to this one chaps. Thanks to Mike for squeezing us in on what sounds like a packed out event.

See you all in a month or so /forum/smilies/big_smile_smiley.gif

Wiktor it may well have been.

You could have turned up at the gates, or booked your place.

To save those not having booked, travelling, it was felt best to tell everybody, whomay havejust turned up, that they now couldn't.

There are no further bookings Wiktor, if you want to be put on the standby list, do as I suggested above, and mail me through the system.

Like you carrot we aren't on the computerevery day!!

Anyone wishing to attend may turn up on the day or, to avoid any delays at the entrance, to pre-register and have their temporary membership/permit forwarded to them by e-mail.

and it's quite simple really ,even for somebody like you.

You could have turned up on the day, or you could have registered, your choice.

Wictor chose not to register,so I toldeverybody nobody can now turn up on the day!
