any details yet on what time we are starting. Posh and Paul I will explain what weather I have been sea fishing this year.

We will all meet there at first light, 8 ish...

We might just get away with this! It takes the BA 2-4 days to fall back after a flood depending on where we fish. The venue might change, but I will keep you all posted via private emails.

The best scenario would be heavy rain tonight, melt it, flood, washed through.....
Even the tail end of the flood would be okay.....

We've got two weeks, fingers crossed.

Good luck Rickrod, we're getting light flurries, but it's deffo warming up...

Sorry Rog, I asked Peter to asterisk out the venue name in your post, hope you don't mind?

I don't like being so secret squirrel, but I had problems from a lurker on a previous fish-in.

Anyway, it's thawing, but we've got more snow forecast this week. It could cause problems with the access to the venue. I'm gonna fish it this weekend to suss it out. I have got another venue in mind that falls much quicker after a flood, the barbel (if they feed) are slightly smaller, but the chub are seriously bigger 6lb+

The second venue, is closer to the motorway, so I was gonna ask you all if you wanted to fish it on Sunday. We may end up there on Saturday and Sunday, but anywhere will do with these conditions.

Bring your finest cheespaste ;)

I'm expecting it to fish its nuts off soon Muffin, the sub-zero temps have put em right down. The snow melt is gonna kill it for a while, after that they will be ravenous..........

I hope...

We've got a blizzard at the mo'!!! And it's meant to go on through the night.

If the thaw starts Friday, we could be okay?

You should see my gray hair!!! (on my head) :wh
