Apparently we're on for prolonged snow melt for the fish-in!!!

I have managed to procure one of the Roach Doctor's stock of 2lb stuffed roach, so the photo-shoot and FM-sponsored fireworks are definitely ON Steve!! :j :wh

It looks like Friday is the day for the big melt, if we head upstream, in theory, we might be okay.......

I'm gonna visit the 2nd venue on Friday and the 1st on Sat/Sun not sure.

Trotting maggs, or bread/cheesepaste on the tip and a pike rod, just in case. This should give me an idea of how they are feeling/responding.

I'm favouring the 2nd venue at the mo', I think it will fish okay. There is a 3rd venue, but that is my gem! Only kidding, but it's only got roach and a scattering of chub and one or two pike and I mean one or two, but they are big!

I'll e-mail everyone after this weekend.
