You post, "Bob included. If only they could see how stupid they make themselves look and the damage some are doing to the thing they try to promote and project."
This thread is nine pages long, supposedly all about me, and I think I have posted twice.
But as the likes of the Barbel Society Sectretary is so keen to keep on stirring things up let's give him both barrels. Just read the following exchange of emails and decide for yourselves whether this man does the BS any favours whatsoever"
Paul to me on Tuesday morning...
Dear Bob
I have today read the feature in Angling Times about the Trent with regard areas to fish. Upon further investigation I have been informed that you supplied the information. I am very disappointed in you that you appear to have misled the reporter concerned and the whole Angling Times readership. You know full well the pegs you have named and know that no day tickets are available on the first 27 pegs below Hazelford weir. I can only assume this was meant to cause yet more mischief in what appears to be a continued feud against the guys that fish there.
I would have hoped that you would have shown your support of The Barbel Society by recommending the stretch at Sutton, thus giving the society publicity but your anger seems to extend to The Barbel Society as well.
This continued feud is once again causing us more embarrassment and is putting our relationship at risk.
Regards Paul Owens
