I am not sure if this is a bargain yet. I have yet to try them. They may float. They may sink. TEN in various colours and hues for £6.99 inc. postage on fleabay I thought it was worth a punt for the perch.

Aint they cute?

I got those last year. Some of them will sink but most floated after i changed the hooks for singles. Most traces will sink them though.

Little fish kept chasing them, i even had a gudgeon on one.

Dave, I shall try them on a pike free water next time I go there with the 5.6 flouro trace.

I must say its great fun with the tiny lures. It amazes me how the tiny perch launch themselves at them. I have been know to exclaim and laugh out loud at the hit :eek:mg: It has opened up a new very enjoyable new window for me.

Be very afraid, the world of BFS is waiting to empty your wallet.

JW Young Purist II 2051 centrepin, mint condition, (my new avatar) on eBay for £140. I’ve been watching reels like this for a while and never seen one for much under £200 so I’m a very happy bargain-hunter.

Browning Sphere Match Rods at Angling direct £194.50 and £199.50 only one of each left

They lasted a surprisingly long time, but they are gone now.

Sam will have bought them by now!

It's amazing how things turn round. When I initially answered, I'd not worked for some time, and didn't expect to until well into the new year. Four weeks later and I've put in a shed load of hours and the savings are nicely topped up.

I reckon they'd get you what you want Chris, and no doubt they'd still do them at that price if you ask em.

Fishing Republik have lots of "bits" on offer just now-- I couldn't resist the bug hat for £2 along with the spinners for the same price per pack.

It’s “mulesing free”.....what’s that?
Looked up in Wikipedia..
Mulesing is the removal of strips of wool-bearing skin from around the breech (buttocks) of a sheep to prevent the parasitic infection flystrike (myiasis). The wool around the buttocks can retain feces and urine, which attracts flies. The scar tissue that grows over the wound does not grow wool, so is less likely to attract the flies that cause flystrike. Mulesing is a common practice in Australia for this purpose, particularly on highly wrinkled Merino sheep. Mulesing is considered by some to be a skilled surgical task.

Urgh! However, it might mean that some part of the garment could be covered in urine and feces. You'll smell lovely in this! :D

Mulesing - Removal of the skin around the sheeps back passage to stop fly strike and infection. Considered to be cruel in some circles , there was a big fuss about it a while ago as it was common in Australia think they have upped the standards and now have alternatives or better standards of animal care e.g painkillers etc.

I'm putting it down to having an injuried leg and a bought of nasty cold that has lowered my resistance and unfortunately the temptation was just to great :eek:mg:

Plenty of Black Friday discounts to be had, this is the best I’ve seen so far, maybe BobCo will go 20%
