Now now chaps, a little decorum please! It wouldn't do if we all liked the same line such as progold! They cannot supply it now!

We would be left mono less!

I would like it to be publicly known that my comments regarding Daiwa Sensor are purely in jest and that I think the line is the product of an absolute genius.

Not only that, but I would fully endorse this product.

After all...

Who else would market a ready crinkled line that saves you the effort of going out and getting it into that state yourself? ;)

I don’t find sensor crinkles, more like a blooming spring loves to unwind its self & get behind the spool. Slightest bit of slack and its done it

Not so much a bargain Mike. Normally you can get thousands of yards on a jumbo spool for about £8 last time I bought this SUPERIOR PRODUCT. HE HE.

........in the meantime I can sit back and smile at all this talk of inferior lines and continue to use the ever reliable, ever supple Maxima Chameleon 2lb bs line which, imho, cannot be beaten. Flows off my c'pins like a charm...

When someone made Matchpro rods and Chameleon line I'm totally convinced it had the backing of a higher power.

Is that price correct? 2 pairs of boots and shot for £17!

Yeah that’s right, not branded but happy to give them a go.

Okay if you have four legs and do a bit of deep sea diving, I suppose...lol

ps I spent yesterday morning catching roach on a still water some 2/3 rod lengths out using hemp (so bites very fast) with said Maxima on the reel and it floated like a dream. Granted, it was only 2lb bs, untreated but the lift off the water was just fine. Later in the morning I fished close in with he same line sunk (as the wind got up) and it did the business...

NOT to say Maxima is the be all and end all of lines, but what other one will do the same job when one obviously cannot just change from one line to another at the drop of the hat??

Apologies for going off thread....

Fishing republic may be having a "fire sale" to attract customers, get a bit of money in to possibly pay creditors, I would think they may have to close a couple of stores to keep going. At one time they offered 10% off anything on production of a current club card, it did not matter which angling club. even on the special offers they had. This has now stopped, They have some good bargains but sometimes it is obscure stuff.

Sam will have bought them by now!

I'd quite like to, but as I rarely use 13/14' waggler rods, and haven't done a day's work since July, I'll not be bothering just yet. If there were a fifteen or seventeen footer in the range, it might have been a tougher call.
