This is about the curtailing of freedoms though. It's a serious thing and therefore doing it in a democratic society should require a really strong justification. There is a strong justification to ban raves and clubs. It obviously places many people in close proximity and creates an environment where the virus can spread rapidly. But that isn't the case for other activities, such as angling, cycling and many other things that people enjoy.Basically I think it is we will do what we want, bemoan anyone else enjoying what they want, going to the beach going to raves etc., scum, idiots, morons, deserve to die etc. except when it comes to our own enjoyment; then we will bend twist connive any rules to make as many excuses as we can. I was explaining some of this to my non fishing mate yesterday, and he said well, you can't do much fishing when your dead, it takes a non angler to see it as it is.
Love it.I assume commercials will be closed as nonessential businesses.
Some of the river stretches of club waters I'm a member of have public footpaths along the bank.Quite. It's still "we believe" which I don't see any more valid than what I believe and club waters aren't publicly accessible spaces. The giveaway is the signs that say No Public Access.
